Last test in Sci & Rel

We will have our last test of the year on Tuesday, June 7th (Day 2).

Science & Religion Test

We will have a test on Thursday, May 19th (Day 2). It will be based on:

1) The Religious Response (handout and notes)
2) Creation in the Torah (Genesis chapter 1 and chart)
3) Evolution (all notes and handouts up to, and including, May 17th)

Your Thoughts on Religion

Answer these questions (minimum 500 words). Include a title, your name, the date, and the questions. (Grammar and spelling do count for marks.) The due date is Monday, March 28th (Day 6) at 2:15 pm.

1) Explain what it means to you to be a religious person.

2) Do you consider yourself to be a religious person? Explain.

3) Compared to other members of your family, are you more, less, or equally religious? Discuss why you think this is so.

4) Have your thoughts on religion changed over time? Explain.

5) Do you believe in God? If 'yes', do you believe that God is involved in the world or not?

6) Can a person be a religious Jew and yet pick and choose what mitzvot they observe and what they believe?

Our First Test

We will have a test on science experiments on February 22 (Tuesday; Day 6).
